Hackathon

About this Event
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! All student grades 9-12 welcome to participate!
RebelHacks is a 48-hour hackathon built to spark creativity, collaboration, and innovation among high school students. Taking place August 23–25, the event will bring together hundreds of students from across the region for a weekend of building, learning, and problem-solving.
At RebelHacks, participants will have the chance to:
- Develop unique projects and bring their ideas to life with guidance from experienced mentors.
- Attend interactive workshops led by professionals in technology, design, and entrepreneurship.
- Compete for exciting prizes while gaining hands-on experience in teamwork, creativity, and real-world development.
Our mission is to empower students to explore technology and innovation while developing practical skills that last beyond the event. Whether you’re an experienced coder or just curious about creating something new, RebelHacks provides the tools, mentorship, and community to help your ideas thrive.
This year’s theme is “Building Tomorrow.” We challenge you to create projects that envision a better future—through technology, sustainability, design, or community impact. Think forward, innovate boldly, and shape what comes next.
At the end of the weekend, teams will present their projects to a panel of judges and receive feedback, recognition, and awards for creativity, impact, and execution.
Join us at RebelHacks—where innovation starts with you.
